a very, very very hard day for me

it was that hard, yes!!!

no, i didnt do like 6h rides or whatever, i just felt dead, probably the worst day since i got to USA.

Yesterdays brick was bad, very bad actually and today i was feeling even worse. rode for 2h with no energy at all and swim was way worse as i couldnt even be close to the predicted pace for the main set.

OUCH, i dont feel like moving anywhere. We went (again) to milagros after the swim this time with Danny (the Boss) and that was the best moment of the day for me where i could just take my mind out of my physical condition to focus on more serious (not) conversations and laughs :P.

Jonny is outside making good progress in his serious relationship with a hacksaw and the fork.

better days will come……hopefully.

Back To las Cruces…

so yeah i have been busy ;)

i got to las cruces Yesterday at 11 pm. jonny boy gave me a ride from the airport, he is such a nice guy, i think ladies should have this man in consideration for future long therm relationships :P

now that i helped Jonny im going back to what i have been doing, not training, that is now top secret!!!

Saturday i flew to San Diego for the Team Timex Camp held in a BEAUTIFUL resort in Carlsbad. I must say that training in that area didnt gave me great “pleasure” other than swim since the resort pool was 25yards, ok the run was ok too but biking, well it sucks or maybe its because i dont know the area and didnt choose the right routes. I got the work done otherwise, some of it needed some sacrifice of the Team Schedule but Tristan (team manager) was cool with it especially on sunday where i was out on the afternoon for a long ride.

The camp was mainly to meet all the team members, get equipment, have sponsor presentations shoot photos and party (for some :P). I was a team member in 05 and 06 and im glad to see that the team gets better as years go by, i saw a not only a great group of athletes/directors but also an AWESOME group of friends!!! and since im talking about the team ill mention all the sponsors involved that make this possible: TIMEX, Trek, Bontrager, Profile Design, PowerBar, Nuun, Rudy Project, CycleOps Power, Nathan, BlueSeventy, Headsweats, Trigger Point, Wigwam, Gaiam, TriBike Transport, and Zorrel.

the camp was over on tuesday and like i said i arrived yesterday night. Trainig wise, it has been quite up and downs. one day i feel ok the next one i feel like crap, the Volume is a lot lower of course and this is all normal for me, but its always hard to handle.

Some photos from camp… and im out to bed :P
